Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) is an initiative between Air University and civilian higher education institutions that offer. AU- ABC Program. The AU- ABC Program is an agreement between APUS and the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) whereby students can obtain transfer credit from their prior learning to earn their selected bachelor degree from APUS in less time. Any completed CCAF Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree may be utilized in the AU- ABC agreement toward a BA in General Studies, and specific CCAF AAS specialty degrees may be utilized to pursue the BA in Criminal Justice- General Concentration degree offered by APUS. The corresponding degree options are listed in the table below. Airmen with a conferred CCAF degree who participate in the AU- ABC Program are guaranteed to complete their bachelor degree in 6. APUS. Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative Program (AU-ABC) AU-ABC links Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) students and their Associate in Applied. All coursework transferred into the CCAF AAS degree is part of the total credits applied toward a student's APUS bachelor degree program; this includes any credit that was transferred from APUS to CCAF for completion of the AAS degree. Note: Specific details and remaining course requirements will vary per student and will be detailed in the Academic Plan once an official Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) is completed. Credit awarded from this articulation agreement is considered traditional transfer credit. Eligibility: In order to be eligible for participation in this program, students must meet the following criteria: Have a conferred CCAF AAS degree. Be enrolled and admitted in the linking APUS program associated to your CCAF AAS degree. Have been admitted into their APUS program AFTER the specified effective dateor. Have completed their CCAF AAS degree AFTER the specified effective date. Guidelines: A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for the AU- ABC Program if they have completed a CCAF AAS degree, are pursuing the linking APUS program (indicated in the table below) AFTER the specified effective date, and have not yet completed their transfer admission process with APUS, including but not limited to receipt of their initial TCE. If an initial evaluation has already been prepared and the student completed their CCAF AAS degree AFTER the specified effective date, they can send in the updated paperwork. A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process. If a student has already had an initial TCE completed, is a degree seeking student in an AU- ABC approved degree program, and began their program BEFORE the specified effective date, they are NOT eligible for another TCE under the terms of this agreement. If a student changes their degree program AFTER the specified effective date to one of the linking APUS programs indicated, the student is eligible for the AU- ABC Program. WARNING: If a student changes their program, they may not receive the same courses in their AU- ABC TCE as were awarded in their previous TCE. Any student initiating a program change voluntarily agrees to: (1) all new program requirements for their new APUS program as outlined in the current APUS catalog, (2) forfeiting their previous TCE award, and (3) having a new TCE performed which will be conducted using current transfer credit policies and guidelines. If a student has already had an initial TCE completed, their documentation has already been reviewed, and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for the agreement terms. Students must send in an official CCAF transcript detailing their AAS degree conferral, along with all other required admission documents. Credits from previous institutions transferred into a CCAF AAS degree award will be incorporated into the AU- ABC TCE award and will be reviewed on a course by course basis.
